This lab was deffiantly the most difficult and tedious part of the class these few weeks in. I ran into a plethora of problems when it came to making my webpages public and using FireClient.
The first thing I had trouble with was the map mashup for new Jersey. i added all of my locations in by copying and pasting them from preferences when you right click on the locations in maps. I thought i did everything right but turns out i inadvertently left the degrees symbol in notepad, which the HTML did not recognize, so i deleted that.
The next set of problems I had were when it came to using fireclient and the transition from private to public page. I had alot of extra html addresses for my different webpages scattered about and in different formats. i.e. wordpad instead of notepad, b/c the html does not recognize pictures anyway.
The next problem I had is when it came to getting the right Google key in order for Google to know who is using their maps, and agree to their rules. I am still having a problem with this and it is saying that i need to get a new key, this is something i’m going to work on with my professor before the presentations in class
